Rowing intro day in partnership with the association “Roule Ta Vie”

After being put on hold by the health crisis linked to the Covid 19 global pandemic, the Teleflex Urology Care French team can finally start organizing patient activities again, such as this rowing intro day in partnership with “Roule Ta Vie” and Albi UMT patients which took place on June 8, 2022.

The purpose of the “Roule Ta Vie” association is to organize and fund activities to promote interaction and social rehabilitation between people with spinal cord injuries. The Teleflex French team is committed to closer engagement with end-users and connecting with them through unique activities and sharing experiences. For this reason, Teleflex was sensitive to the “Roule Ta vie” association’s approach and wanted to be a real player in this social issue by organizing the rowing intro day.

This event, organized at the Albigeois rowing club and driven by Laurent Viala, rowing coach and former French para rowing champion, was a real success and allowed everyone to share experiences, exchange views, laugh and have fun all together. A true synergy was naturally created during this event, between the patients, the Teleflex team and the volunteers of the rowing club and allowed everyone to open up to others and together discover the beautiful sport of rowing. The human values of mutual assistance and sharing were the key words of this day filled with emotions, feelings and discovery. Many thanks for the warm welcome of the rowing club and its volunteers and a big bravo to all participants of this event.

A unique occasion bringing together sport and interaction left an indelible mark in the minds of the Teleflex Urology Care French team, who are now looking forward to sharing new experiences just as intense during the next event!
