The 15th World Continence Week took place from the 19th to the 25th of June. Across the world, national organisations held a series of events to highlight several key topics.

Review of World Continence Week 2023

The vision of World Continence Week is a world where people living with all forms of pelvic floor dysfunction can enjoy a high quality of life, play an active role in society and have access to appropriate treatments. A key aim of World Continence Week is to take preventive action, to raise awareness, to provide education and to offer advice.

The week of global action provides information about the management and treatment of incontinence. This enables affected persons, relatives and medical staff to find out information about the various treatment options at national events. Particularly for those affected, many of whom suffer considerably as a result of their condition, finding out about specific treatment options is the first step towards improving their quality of life.
