Wakeboard Tour 2022
After the success of the 2021 event, the Wakeboard Tour 2022 will return to the water, with a series of stages around Italy. Italian Teleflex Medical S.r.l. will be there again as a partner of these events.
After the end of the ski season with the last major stage in Madonna di Campiglio, the Freerider Sport Events Association moves from the “mountain to the lake”.
TELEFLEX, a committed supporter of sport as a means of rebirth, overcoming difficulties and social reintegration, is therefore returning for the second year following the success of 2021, to sponsor the WAKEBOARD TOUR 2022 as part of the TELEFLEX 4 ACTIVE LIVING project. Participants will be followed by Emanuele “Meme” Pagnini, Federal Master of FISW (Italian Waterski & Wakeboard Federation) and two-time Wakeboard World Champion and his team of qualified instructors.
Equipment will be provided by Freerider Sport Events to all participants and includes:
“Swaik” by Tessier, the most advanced and best-performing wakeboard in the world, the compulsory life jacket and helmet to be used during the courses and the activity in the water. The only important requirement for participation is to have minimal residual strength in the arms to be able to hold on tightly to the handle connected to the rope that pulls the athlete on the water.
Last year, about 80 people had fun and got involved by taking part in the Wakeboard Tour, supported with enthusiasm and determination by TELEFLEX staff who actively participated in the events, supporting people who wanted to try this new sport and transformed what most people may see as insurmountable difficulties into new skills and ways of overcoming limits and barriers.
