Register now for the International Wakeboard Event in France
From 2-4 June 2023 (1 June will be arrival day) the Freerider Sport Events Association offers you a great possibility to test wakeboarding. Wheelchair users from all over Europe can register. Teleflex is proud to be official partner of this event.
The ability to carry out intermittent catheterisation independently means improved quality of life, but sport also helps to cope better in a new life situation, for example after an accident or illness. This is why Teleflex supports various events and activities organised by several partners. With our Teleflex For Active Living initiative we also support this fantastic wakeboard event.
The cable park in Le Muy, France,offers wheelchair users perfect conditions for wakeboarding. Participants will be accompanied by Emanuele Pagnini, Federal Master of FISW (Italian Waterski & Wakeboard Federation) and three-time Wakeboard World Champion and his team of qualified instructors.
Equipment will be provided by Freerider Sport Events to all participants and includes:
“Swaik” by Tessier, the most advanced and best-performing wakeboard in the world, the compulsory life jacket and helmet to be used during the courses and the activity in the water. The only real requirement is for participants to have minimal residual strength in the arms so they can hold on tightly to the handle connected to the rope that pulls them on the water.
Overnight accommodations is provided in nearby in mobile homes at the 4star Tikayan campsite.
