The Anna Schaffelhuber “Limitless Camps” have been taking place since 2019 and there will also be two camps in beautiful Bavaria in 2022. After her very successful career as a para-athlete, the former Paralympic champion and Germany’s para-athlete of the decade, whom TELEFLEX has been in partnership with for many years, started the Anna Schaffelhuber “Limitless Camps” – a series of events for young people with and without disabilities that focuses on inclusion and personal strength development.

After the success of the 2021 event, the Wakeboard Tour 2022 will return to the water, with a series of stages around Italy. Italian Teleflex Medical S.r.l. will be there again as a partner of these events.

The Wings for Life World Run is a global charity run that takes place annually in May. This year’s Wings for Life World Run took place on May 8, 2022. The Wings for Life Run is initiated by the Wings for Life Foundation based in Austria. Its motto is “running for those who can´t”. Each participant pays an entry fee, which is 100% donated for research purposes. Teleflex Urology Care is proud that 20 Teleflex runners from 7 countries all over the world took part and supported the goal of the Foundation to cure paraplegia with their entry fee.

The Wings for Life World Run is a worldwide charity run that takes place annually in May. The Wings for Life Run is hosted by the Wings for Life Foundation based in Austria. Its motto is: ‘we’ll run for those who can’t’. Each participant pays an entry fee, 100% of which is donated for research purposes. Teleflex Urology Care will again be competing with its own team and has invited employees to participate to give back and improve people’s health and quality of life.

In summer 2022, the department for children and youth sports in the DRS (German wheelchair sports association) will hold two wheelchair and mobility training courses for children and teenagers. The courses are conducted by specially trained teams of trainers, in which at least one trainer is a wheelchair user him- or herself. The parents of the participating children also take part in the training. Teleflex Medical GmbH in Germany has been supporting the DRS’s children and youth sports department as a partner for several years.
