Winter is just around the corner! For the upcoming ski season, Y.E.S. Sportmarketing GmbH once again has a very special offer for the whole family. Teleflex is partner of the ski course for children and teenagers, which is taking place in the ski resort St. Anton near Ladurns.
From 6th Nov to 8th Nov, the BAUN Annual Conference 2022, will take place at the EICC Edinburgh and is one of the most important exhibitions in the urology health sector. 2022 marks the return of Teleflex to the exhibition after the difficult period that we have all been through in the last 2 years.
Water sports at SailWise is much more than just enjoying the water. By being active, everyone with a disability, limitation or chronic illness can once more experience the feeling of independence, self-esteem and independence. Personal development, pushing boundaries and self-direction are the keywords here. You aren’t obliged to do anything, but anything you do want to do is possible! SailWise participants agree: SailWise lets you rise above yourself and makes you forget your limitation. Also, this year there was another SailWise sailing week supported by Teleflex Urology Care.
In September, after a long wait, Teleflex Urology Care was the proud sponsor of the charity Access Adventures. Access Adventures is a registered charity delivering life-changing adaptive sports & activities. The events are designed to challenge expectations and build self-confidence for people with disabilities. The Teleflex Urology Care UK team attended the Water Ski event at Heron Lake, Staines, as part of the partnership.
The Wheelchair Skills Day is going into a second round in Germany. Under the motto “Mobility Training meets Action Sports”, DRS Rollikids and MTV Stuttgart invite wheelchair users of all ages with their families and friends to Stuttgart this year. Teleflex Urology Care has been a partner of the DRS children’s and youth sports department for many years and is pleased to be involved again this year.
This year’s two Anna Schaffelhuber Limitless Camps for young people with and without disabilities took place in Burghausen in August and September. The event series is named after Anna Schaffelhuber, former world-class para-athlete and Olympic champion. In recent years, Teleflex has been a partner of the event series, which focuses on inclusion and personality development. The following report of the event organiser Y.E.S. It has been four years since exhibitors and visitors had the opportunity to come together at REHACARE International. This year, it’s that time again – Messe Düsseldorf opens its doors and invites you to REHACARE International from September 14-17. In fact, due to the Coronavirus situation, the International Trade Fair for Rehabilitation and Care was last held in 2018, so we are all the more pleased that the Teleflex Urology Care Team will be on site in Düsseldorf in 2022.
In June, the time had finally come: after a long dry spell, a travel group set off again for beautiful Kaltern on the Wine Trail. Perfect conditions as well as feedback from the last three handbike tours made the decision for South Tyrol as destination easy. The German team of Teleflex Urology Care accompanied the handbike tour as partner of the event.
On June 23, 2022, the latest sports day took place at the IRR (Institut Régional de Réadaptation/Regional Rehabilitation Institute) of Lay-Saint-Christophe. It was the first time the French Teleflex Urology Care team participated, but the 29th event for the rehabilitation center!
After the mandatory shutdown due to the pandemic, activities dedicated to adolescents have restarted with Adventure Camp 2022 and with TELEFLEX Urology Care once again close nearby. Following the success among our young friends in previous years with the Summer Camp, A.S.B.I. – Spina Bifida Association Italy – was back with its Adventure Camp in the beautiful setting of Lake Orta (Piedmont), held from June 24 to 26.
