World Multiple Sclerosis Day 2023 – Teleflex sponsored international MS sailing event in Greece

Every year, the 30th of May is designated World Multiple Sclerosis Day to raise awareness of this chronic disease. MS is a neurogenic condition with a variety of symptoms. The cause is currently unknown. The 2023 World MS Day theme is ‘Connections’. MS Connections is all about building community connection, self-connection and connections to quality care.

International Women’s Day is March 8, 2023 – Teleflex is celebrating!

Women’s Day was held for the first time more than 100 years ago. In its current form and with March 8th as the date for International Women’s Day, it has been celebrated by the United Nations since 1975. Teleflex Urology Care supports the goals of International Women’s Day and today celebrates all women, our female employees and female customers.

25 October 2022: We’re celebrating World Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Day

There are approximately one million cases of spina bifida and hydrocephalus worldwide every year. Despite the continuous advances in medicine, comparatively little is known about these congenital disabilities, which cannot be cured. The goal of World Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Day (WSBHD) is to raise awareness and understanding of the disease as well as to promote the rights of persons living with these conditions.

Review of World Continence Week 2022

The 14th World Continence Week took place from the 20th to the 26th of June. Across the world, a variety of events have been held by national organizations to highlight several key topics. World Continence Week is an annual initiative jointly organized by the World Association of Incontinence Patients (WFIP) and the International Continence Society (ICS).

#MSconnections: World MS Day 2022

On 30 May 2022, World MS Day took place for the 14th time. Its aim is to mobilize support for the 2.8 million people with MS worldwide and to raise awareness about the disease. This year, the campaign “MS Connections”, led by the MS International Federation (MSIF), was extended for the third and last time. Once again, contacts should be made in keeping with the local and international focus and the central message remains: Together we’re stronger than MS.

Information about spina bifida and hydrocephalus in the ASBH podcast

The German company Teleflex Medical GmbH has been a partner of ASBH (Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Working Group) for many years, which launched its own podcast at the end of last year.
