25 October 2023: We’re celebrating World Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Day
World Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Day is an important global observance day dedicated to raising awareness about spina bifida and hydrocephalus, which are birth defects that cannot be cured. Did you know that there are approximately one million cases worldwide every year? World Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Day (WSBHD) is held annually on 25 October to raise awareness and understanding of these conditions and to promote the rights of those living with them.
